Abyssinian Mass by Wynton Marsalis

On May 18, 2019, The Carr Center with partnership from Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan, presented The Abyssinian Mass, A Gospel Celebration composed by Wynton Marsalis. The performance featured volcalist Karen Clark-Sheard, with The Gathering Orchestra conducted by Rodney Whitaker and the Carr Center Community Choir conducted by Maestro Damien Sneed.
